ABOUT THE PROJECT:

Illustration for a Refinery29’s feauture highlighting the fact that we won't just uncuff ourselves from the "good enough" partners we picked up during quarantine to stave off loneliness, but we're uncuffing ourselves from our "COVID pods/bubbles," our quarantine sweats, and our pandemic hobbies.

In this illustration, I wanted to capture the movement of her opening the curtains which is freeing and liberating depicting the “uncuffing” feeling. Objects that represent hobbies and relationships formed during the quarantine, between zoom meetings or engagements are tossed in air along with the curved movement of the curtain.
